LEAD Coalition Urges Congressional Appropriators to Cement New Federal Investments in Research, Care and Support

Eighty-seven LEAD Coalition member organizations and supporters wrote to the U.S. House and Senate appropriations leadership urging them to include in the FY 2015 spending package the $100 million increase above FY 2014 levels for the National Institute on Aging (NIA) that the Senate appropriations committee included in its draft Labor, HHS and Education bill and the resources provided for elsewhere in the Senate bill to advance Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias public health and caregiver support programs. Read the full letter.
