LEAD Coalition Encourages HHS to Strengthen Dementia Objectives in Healthy People 2030 Plan

Today, 170 LEAD Coalition member organizations and allies submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services a consensus public comment letter in response to the HHS’s proposed Healthy People 2030 (HP2030) objectives, which are a new set of science-based, 10-year national objectives to improve the health of all Americans. The LEAD Coalition urges additional focus on the dementia-specific objectives, modification of dementia-relevant objectives, re-inclusion of a HP2020 objective omitted from the HP2030 proposal, and addition of two new objectives.
