Alliance for Patient Access

The Alliance for Patient Access (AfPA) is a national network of physicians dedicated to ensuring patient access to approved therapies and appropriate clinical care. AfPA accomplishes this mission by recruiting, training and mobilizing policy-minded healthcare providers to be effective advocates for patient access. To promote a better understanding of the benefits of patient access to approved therapies and appropriate clinical care, the Alliance for Patient Access sponsors physician working groups, health policy initiatives, workshops, conferences, stakeholder coalitions, and the production of educational materials. AfPA’s Physicians Neurodegenerative Disease Working Group seeks to ensure that policymakers hear the perspectives of clinicians who treat patients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s diseases, as well as related conditions, as they consider issues impacting access to medical therapies. http://allianceforpatientaccess.org
