Dementia Alliance of North Carolina
Originally founded at Duke University in the early 80’s, the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina (formerly Alzheimer’s North Carolina) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, incorporated in the State of North Carolina and has provided Dementia information, education, conferences, training, programs, services, advocacy, research funding and counseling for families and professionals throughout North Carolina for more than 30 years. We believe that everyone impacted by Dementia deserves access to resources that deliver hope and increased quality of life until there is a world without Dementia. That’s why our primary goal is to improve the lives of caregivers and others in North Carolina impacted by all types of Dementia. While our name has changed, our commitment to providing local Dementia support, education and research remains as strong as ever.
