NAPA Draft Plan Released

The NAPA Advisory Council has released the draft National Plan today (bill summary available here). The plan includes a goal to stop the disease by 2025, which marks the first time the federal government has adopted a time frame to stop Alzheimer’s. The plan also recognizes the need for increasing enrollment in clinical trials, compressing the drug development process, accelerating targeted research and better coordinating activities with other nations.
