  • So, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry came to the Capitol on Thursday to jam with some guitar-playing scientists. He and NIH chief Francis Collins sang a Dylansong. They were promoting funding for disease research: “Rock Stars of Science.” The Hill is a place of many wonders.

  • Among the new appointees to the presidential commission looking into the creation of an American Latino museum: Emilio Estefan, Miami musician, husband of Gloria.
