Thirty LEAD Member Organizations Urge Congress to Examine National Alzheimer’s Plan Implementation Progress

As federal agencies, the business and non-profit sectors work to implement America’s first-ever “National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease,” a wide cross section of LEAD member organizations are calling on Congress to examine the foundation being laid for progress on the aggressive and urgently needed goals of preventing and effectively treating Alzheimer’s disease by 2025, enhancing care quality and efficiency, and expanding supports for individuals with dementia and their families. LEAD knows that we have it within our national capacity to meet the ambitious and achievable goals with a genuinely national collaboration.
