LEAD Coalition expands push to pass ASAP Act

The LEAD Coalition, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association and the Alzheimer’s Impact Movement (AIM) has submitted an updated letter with Congress with 526 signatories in support of the bipartisan Alzheimer’s Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act (H.R. 6130 / S.3267). This bipartisan legislation aims to ensure timely access to innovative Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved or cleared screening tests to detect Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of dementia in their earliest stages. The updated letter includes more than 75 new signatories, demonstrating building momentum for passage of the ASAP Act before the end of this congressional session.
