Cognivue is a pioneer in digital cognitive assessment and brain health innovation. As the developer of the first FDA-cleared Digital Cognitive Assessment (DCA), Cognivue helped establish and advance a category that is increasingly important as healthcare systems seek scalable approaches to earlier cognitive evaluation and Alzheimer’s disease risk identification. Unlike traditional paper-and-pencil assessments that simply have been digitized, Cognivue utilizes proprietary adaptive psychophysics, machine learning-driven test personalization, reaction time analysis, visual salience measurements, and motor control calibration to tailor each assessment to the individual patient while minimizing confounding factors, reducing administrator bias, and improving consistency across testing environments. The platform provides age-adjusted scoring, evaluates four cognitive domains through ten subtests, and incorporates processing speed and reaction time measurements to objectively characterize cognitive performance. In addition to providing objective cognitive performance data, Cognivue includes the Cognivue Amyloid Risk Measure (CARM), the first published DCA capability shown to predict the likelihood of amyloid pathology using cognitive performance data alone. Through multiple peer-reviewed publications and real-world implementation studies, Cognivue has demonstrated the value of a two-stage screening approach that combines cognitive assessment and biomarker testing to help identify individuals who may benefit from additional evaluation, blood-based biomarker testing, or specialist referral, while also providing reassurance to those whose performance is consistent with expected cognitive function at the time of testing. Cognivue also has helped pioneer brain health assessment in allied healthcare environments, particularly audiology and hearing healthcare, bringing cognitive screening closer to where patients already receive care. By meeting patients where they are and helping guide appropriate next steps, Cognivue is working to transform cognitive assessment from a point-in-time test into a practical pathway for earlier answers, earlier intervention, and more informed decision-making for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
