LEAD Coalition proposes National Dementia Care and Services Research Summit

Today, 137 LEAD Coalition member organizations and supporters wrote to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services proposing a public-private partnership to organize a “National Research Summit on Care and Services for Persons with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias” to be held in the first half of 2016. Read the letter.

LEAD Coalition Calls for New Federal Investments in Care, Support, and Research

Ninety-three LEAD Coalition member organizations and supporters wrote to the U.S. House and Senate appropriations leadership calling for a $20 million expansion in care and support services through the Administration for Community Living and overall NIH funding to reach $32 billion including at least $200 million in new investments in dementia research.
